At 60, and being correctly diagnosed 10 years ago, I thought he'd get back to "normal." &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Well it's becoming clear normalcy is as fleeting. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;He'll always have his little episodes, and my mother and I will always have to deal with it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Mostly I feel bad for her. She's a saint with willpower that I'll never have.&lt;/p&gt;
