I was super excited when I found your blog, as I am just beginning to prepare for a MEPN program and am looking for as much information as I can about nursing and the program, I just don't know where to even start; I haven't read all of your articles, just a few, but I definitely plan on checking in regularly now. :) I was wondering if you could help me out with a few questions I have??
How did you prepare for the program (besides taking the prereq classes and the GRE) What kinds of community service did you do, trips, projects, etc...
I'm just starting the process of preparing, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the enormity of the situation, like all the time and money being spent, all the preparation, and what if I don't even get into the program? Any advice or tips you could give me would be so so great! Thank you so much for your help; I look forward to hearing from you and reading future articles!
Have a happy new year!
Katie

Re: RN for life?

I've been checking every week for new entries; am glad you're back! Here I am still trying to get a job post-MEPN and you have two - congrats!!! Since you're a part-timer, that's why I didn't run into you at all last quarter. Though I hope to see you around campus eventually. Be well, NurseSF!
